1993 Ford Tempo
The 1993 Tempo has a powertrain of 2.3-liter engine, a 5 speed manual transmission
and available also in 3-speed automatic transmission, and a front-wheel drive
for its engine driveline. Its alternator is about 95 amps and has a 58-amp heavy-duty
battery.
The 1993 Ford Tempo is available in 3 trims to which are GL 2-door Sedan, GL
4-door Sedan, and the LX 4-door Sedan. All 3 trims have a 24.0-mpg for its fuel
economy in a city and a 33.0-mpg as its fuel economy in the highway, and its fuel
tank can load up to 15.9 gallons. In the 1993 Tempo, the sporty GLS faded away,
leaving only a base GL 2/4-door and the costlier LX 4-door. The new console contained
a removable cupholder. An airbag was optional only with the 4-cylinder engine,
and only with automatic transmission.
